Terms of Service

Effective date: October 15, 2026. These Terms are a contract between you and US Political Hub, Inc. ("we," "us"), 2950 Unity Drive #570101 Houston, Texas 77057. Contact: admin@stg-fortbendranchersball-staging.kinsta.cloud

1. The service

US Political Hub, Inc. (Operating this website as uspoliticalhub.com) is an independent information service about candidates for office, elected and appointed officials, legislation introduced and passed, and related public records. We are not a government website, a campaign, a political party, a political committee, or a law firm. A listing, the order of names, a photo, or a label is not an endorsement and is not the order on an official ballot.

We compile public records, official texts, campaign materials, and submissions from candidates, officials, and users. We may summarize, link, reorder for display, and correct errors. We do not promise that any page is complete, current, or error-free. Bill summaries are plain-language aids. The official filed or enrolled text controls. Nothing on the site is legal, tax, or election advice.

2. Agreement

By using the site you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Community Rules. If you create an account, post a comment, send a message to an office, submit a candidate profile, or buy a subscription or advertisement, you agree again at that step. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

You must be at least 18 to use this website, open an account, or send a message to a candidate, official, or an office. We do not knowingly offer accounts to children under 13. If you use the site for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it.

3. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate registration information and keep your login secure.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account.
  • We may refuse, suspend, or close an account for a breach of these Terms or the Community Rules, to comply with law, or to protect the service or other users.
  • You may close your account in settings. Closing an account does not recall a message already delivered to an office.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of comments, messages, photos, and other material you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute that material in connection with the service. The license continues for material already displayed or already delivered to an office, and for backup and legal-hold copies, after you delete the account.

You represent that you have the right to submit the material, that it does not infringe anyone's rights, and that statements you present as fact are true to your knowledge. You are responsible for what you post.

5. Comments

Comments on candidates, officials, and legislation are user content. We are not the author. We do not pre-clear every comment. We may refuse, remove, or reorder a comment that breaks the Community Rules. Removal is not an endorsement of any other view.

Public comments may use a display name. You may not post another person's home address, personal phone number, private email, or family details. You may not threaten, harass, impersonate a candidate or official, or present a false statement of fact as fact. Opinion about public acts, votes, and campaign statements is allowed.

A candidate or official may post a labeled reply. A candidate or official may not delete criticism. Repeat violations can close the account.

6. Messages to officials

If you send a message to a candidate, an elected or appointed official through the site, you direct us to transmit the legal name, postal address, and message text you entered. We ask for the name and address because many officials and offices discard anonymous mail. We do not publish that street address on the comment page.

We do not guarantee that the office, candidate, or official will receive, read, or answer the message. The office may keep its copy under public-records rules. Our copy is kept as stated in the Privacy Policy. A fee for a subscription is not a fee to make an official respond.

7. Candidate and official submissions

A candidate, official, or authorized agent who submits a profile, photo, statement, or contact grants us a license to display it on the relevant pages. We may make light copy edits for length or clarity and will mark material edits. We may reject a submission we cannot verify, that violates these Terms, or that is not from the person or an authorized agent.

The same questions and the same display rules apply to every candidate in a race. Payment for a profile or an advertisement does not buy a change in facts, sort order, questionnaire display, or the visibility of comments. Unanswered questions stay blank.

8. Acceptable use

You may not:

  • Post unlawful, defamatory, or fraudulent content.
  • Threaten a person, incite violence, or target a person with harassment.
  • Publish a home address, personal phone number, private email, or family details that are not an official public contact.
  • Impersonate a candidate, official, staff member, or the portal.
  • Scrape the service in a way that degrades it, or resell our compilation as a competing database, except under a separate written license.
  • Attempt to break access controls or interfere with the service.
  • Use the site to solicit or process a campaign contribution. We do not process contributions under these Terms.

9. Intellectual property

The site design, our summaries, and our compilation are owned by us or our licensors, except for public-domain official texts and third-party material used under license. Federal government works are generally not copyrighted. State and local materials vary. Do not copy our summaries in bulk without permission.

If you believe material on the site infringes a copyright, send a notice to US Political Hub, Inc., 2950 Unity Drive #570101, Houston, Texas 77057, or admin@stg-fortbendranchersball-staging.kinsta.cloud, that includes the elements required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3). We will respond as the statute requires. A counter-notice may be sent to the same address.

10. Paid services

Subscriptions, office licenses, and advertisements are described at purchase. Fees are billed by our payment processor. Except where the purchase page says otherwise, subscriptions renew until canceled. You may cancel in settings. Cancellation stops the next renewal. It does not refund the current period unless the purchase page or applicable law says so.

An office subscription is billed to the office and is a tool for staff. It is not a campaign advertisement and it is not an endorsement. A political advertisement must carry the disclaimer required by applicable law, including the Texas political-advertising disclosure when that law applies and the FEC disclaimer when that law applies. We may refuse an ad. The rate card is the same for every candidate in a race.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT USE OF THE SITE WILL MEET ANY ELECTION, LOBBYING, PUBLIC-NOTICE, OR FILING REQUIREMENT.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR LOST GOODWILL, ARISING FROM THE SERVICE, USER CONTENT, OR A MESSAGE TO AN OFFICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR A CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR $100 IF YOU PAID NOTHING.

Some states do not allow these limits. In those states, the limits apply only as far as the law allows. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for our fraud or willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify us and our officers, directors, and employees against claims, damages, and reasonable attorneys' fees arising from your content, your messages to officials, your advertisement, or your breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.

14. Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, excluding conflict-of-law rules. State and federal courts in Texas are the exclusive venue, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Before filing a claim, you will email admin@stg-fortbendranchersball-staging.kinsta.cloud and try to resolve the dispute for 30 days. This informal step is not required for a request for injunctive relief.

15. Changes and general terms

We may update these Terms by posting a new version and changing the effective date. If a change is material, we will email account holders when we have an address. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance of the new Terms.

If a court holds a provision unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Community Rules are the entire agreement on this subject. They do not create a partnership, joint venture, or agency. You may not assign these Terms. We may assign them in a merger or sale of the entity.
